Can I order my Solar Return even if my birthday has already passed?
Yes, of course. Your Solar Return describes the year from one birthday to the next, so you can order it at any time: even if that year has already started, you still have months ahead, and many people order it precisely to understand what they've been feeling for a while. You'll just need to tell us where you were on your birthday. And if you prefer, you can also order next year's right away.
Do I need to know my birth time?
Yes, as precisely as you can. A Solar Return is cast from your birth chart, and the time is what sets the houses: without it, the year's map loses exactly the part that says where things happen.
Why do you ask where I'll be on my birthday?
Because it changes the chart. A Solar Return is cast for the exact place you are in at the moment the Sun comes back to the degree it held when you were born, not for the place you were born. If you're in another city that day — because you moved, or because you're travelling — the map is different, which is one of the things that makes it interesting.
How long does it take?
A couple of minutes. You can close the page: we email you the moment it's ready, and it waits in your account.
What if I buy it before I know which year I want?
That's fine. The purchase leaves a report waiting in your account and it doesn't expire. Use it the day you're sure.
Is this the same as a birth chart?
